San Agustillio, MX

Patty and Peter, bless their hearts, lent us their second car. Our guide: Richard Mechanico!
It was dirty, so of course we took it to the car wash!
Helen and Rosie came a few days later. Didn't really get to see them much. But they sure did stock the fridge with a bounty of organic fruits and vegetables!

He grinned and bore it.

Waiting for 5:00 pm....
When 20 or so of us each held a little leathery feverish-to-go newly hatched turtle and watched as they scurried toward the surf.

Sheet! Don't forget Campers, water is NOT sunblock!

I was doing so well, keeping myself blocked, clothed, and in siesta shade until...the snorkeling trip. So fantastic! Patty and Peter, David and myself met Linda and Nicolas (they have a tour thing going - Jami) at Puerto Angel. We toured up the coast, turned around (and up wind of) White Rock - named after its color caused by bird poop - then went down the coast. Out in the sea Nicolas spotted a sea turtle. We met. Snorkeling, diving, adventuring, cold beer and lunch at any beach. 6 hours of fabulous fun. I didn't bring my camera. But Peter brought his...

This is a little chapel right at San Agustillio. Sweet.

The beach house at San Agustillio

This was the room that Dad and I shared. I had a mosquito netting that (eventually, once I figured out how to make the overlaps work) worked - unlike the shrouds that Dad tangled himself in every night.
The back of the house. Lovely tile work all over.
The front of the house from the not-yet-built deck
The bathroom upstairs and pic below is the upstairs. Lovely view of the ocean and of course a lovely and welcome breeze.
